The project brings together young rising stars Sam Anning (bass) and Marc Hannaford (piano) with national jazz icon and living treasure, Allan Browne. The cross-generational Trio performs original contemporary pieces and their own interpretations of works by Ellington, Armstrong, Morton and Monk. Having just released their debut album 'Homage', this concert is an opportunity to see three vital Australian jazz musicians playing old and new repertoire in the spirit of jazz and invention.
