FREE SOUND WALKS at NGV International WORLD PREMIERE PERFORMANCE FEATURING BUM CREEK
Trevelyan Clay, Sam Karmel and Tarquin Manek are an ascendant trio of young multi instrumentalists intent on pursuing the far reaches of ecstatic realms in their live shows. Using electronics alongside found objects, voice and traditional instruments, Bum Creek have been labeled visionaries, upstarts and Dadaists, drawing from diverse influences including musical; theatre and transgress ional performance art.

The Melbourne International Jazz Festival is pleased to present the coming together of two internationally renowned musicians leading the way in new creative music, New York guitar icon Nels Cline (Wilco, John Zorn), and critically acclaimed sound artist Oren Ambarchi. Since the early 90s, both artist have individually built an international reputation for their genre-defying music, exploring diverse styles and collaborations. MIJF and the National Gallery of Victoria present these new music icons in performance and conversation.
