CECIL TAYLOR CANCELS AUSTRALIAN DATES DUE TO ILLNESS

 

Due to illness, American jazz pianist Cecil Taylor has suspended all international travel plans indefinitely. As a result his Australian engagements as a part of the Melbourne International Jazz Festival have been cancelled.

 

For ticket holders to:

The Festival would like to offer ticket purchasers for the concert Cecil Taylor (USA) with Tony Oxley (UK) the opportunity to exchange their tickets for another major concert being presented at the Melbourne Recital Centre during the Festival, subject to availability. These are:

The Festival would also like to provide a complimentary ticket to those who take up this exchange offer to attend a concert at The Forum as part of the Melbourne International Jazz Festival. Ticket purchasers may choose from one of the following concerts subject to availability:

Please note this offer is only available until 4pm on Thursday April 30^th.

Please note seat number allocations will be distributed on a first come first serve basis for Forum concerts.
Tickets will be available for collection at the Melbourne Recital Centre and Forum box offices an hour before the event.
