There would be very few Australians who need an introduction to the children's television icon, Play School or its much loved theme song "There's a Bear in There". For 44 years, Big Ted, Little Ted, Jemima, Humpty and friends, along with a whole host of well-known Australian faces, have brought Australian children the magic that is Play School. Play School relates to children using stories, games, music and songs which makes the Play School's Big Jazz Adventure concert a perfect way to introduce Australian children to the international sounds of Jazz music. Featuring some of Australia's finest Jazz musicians this concert will showcase the instruments and their sounds in an accessible and fun way. Play School aims to encourage a child to wonder, to think, to feel and to imagine and in this special one-off concert to enjoy the sounds of jazz music.
