Made up of three of Australia's most respected and in-demand improvising musicians, DRUB is a trio whose uncompromising sound is born of its individual members, virtuosic technical facility and fearless approach to music-making. Led by trumpeter Scott Tinkler, this new configuration of the group features guitarist Carl Dewhurst and drummer Simon Barker.
Nels Cline and Glenn Kotche are perhaps best known for their long-time membership of famed US alt-country band Wilco, however both artists have chiselled out careers incorporating diversely creative musical projects born of their intense curiosity to explore and develop their music beyond conventional bounds.
