"Jazz great Wilma Reading still has the voice of a legend" - Eric Myers, The Australian

Pioneering Australian jazz legend and recent inductee into the National Indigenous Music Awards Hall of Fame, Wilma Reading has had a dazzling international career performing with Duke Ellington and Oscar Peterson, and starring on London’s West End.

Growing up in what she describes as the ‘village’ of Cairns in the 1950s, indigenous singer Wilma Reading was discovered performing at a Brisbane jazz club while on a school softball tour. This proved to be the catalyst for an international career that spanned the globe to rub shoulders with jazz luminaries and cement her place as an icon in Australian music.

In this truly special performance, Reading will revisit the many highlights of her long and vibrant career.
