Opening Act: The NOLA Get Down

“They play the sort of music that makes you glad to be alive…” – ESQUIRE

Steeped in New Orleans musical culture, the Hot 8 Brass Band has brought the unique energy of the deep south’s iconic Second Line parade to adoring sold-out audiences around the world – delivering funked-up brass-led grooves through a mix of catchy originals and raucous covers that weave in elements of funk, hip hop, R&B, soul and bounce.

From working with Lauryn Hill and Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), starring in Spike Lee docos and HBO’s Treme, to their anthemic take on Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing”, this infectiously upbeat 8-piece continue to represent the soul of New Orleans while forging their own powerful legacy.

If it’s rowdy, swaggering, feel-good funky times you want, there’s only one thing to do.
