The Pepper Tree, Essendon

Georgie Darvidis is one of Melbourne’s most versatile and adventurous young artists. Performing with her band, Georgie will play a selection of traditional jazz standards and ballads.

 

HARRIETT ALLCROFT

The Fancy Parrot, Ascot Vale

Known for her mesmerising yet light-hearted style, vocalist Harriett Allcroft and her band perform original contemporary jazz with trademark playfulness and whimsy.

 

BERNARD ALEXANDER TRIO

Biagio’s Restaurant, Niddrie

Playing arrangements of swing tunes and jazz standards, Bernard Alexander (saxophones), Harry Morrison (bass) and Patrick Danao (drums) make music for dancing, laughing and loving.

The world’s first Far North Queensland neo-soul supergroup, Izy bring you raw neo-soul grooves, rich vocal harmony and subtle jazz guitar. It’s soul music for soul people.

Sunny Reyne is neo-soul/alt-pop artist with a distinctively lush voice. For this performance Sunny presents her original songs accompanied by her band’s groove and synth-laden beats.

Partnering up with enigmatic bassist Paddy Fitzgerald, Isobel will be playing songs from her debut album Duty of Care.

With a range of influences including Lianne La Havas, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu and Donny Hathaway, Michaela’s sound is a deep exploration of old and new soul, fused with fierce pop flavours.

Melbourne trio Soft Power, led by guitarist/composer Matthew Roche, is a ‘post-rock jazz’ outfit of improvised guitar, bass and drums, providing the soundtrack to a not-so-distant utopian world.
