Monash Art Ensemble

Featuring international improvising virtuosi led by Artistic Director Paul Grabowsky AO, alongside the next generation of talent from Monash University School of Music and Performance, the ensemble champions some of the world’s finest new music composers and performers. In this very special evening, audiences will hear the premiere of a new work, The Birdlife Suite, by critically acclaimed North American pianist Kris Davis, and a collaborative composition by Australian heavyweight Rob Burke and alto saxophonist Michael Kellett.
