These Digital Times: Paul Grabowsky AO

Paul Grabowsky is a pianist, composer, arranger, conductor – and is one Australia’s most distinguished artists. He has worked with jazz luminaries Chet Baker, Art Farmer and Johnny Griffin; written scores for over twenty films in Australia, the UK and the US; won seven ARIA awards; and has toured extensively both nationally and overseas.
He established a reputation as one of Australia’s leading jazz musicians with such bands as his own trio and sextet, the Wizards of Oz and as musical director for singer Vince Jones. This reputation has never wavered.

In a rare solo performance, this master pianist will revisit his album ‘Solo’, released in 2014 by ABC Jazz. Featuring all the hallmarks that have made him one of the world’s foremost jazz instrumentalists and composers, the album is a richly complex work of art from an artist at the height of his musical prowess.

This performance is proudly supported by Australia Post.
