Will there be conditions of entry to attend the 2022 Melbourne International Jazz Festival?

The safety of our artists, audiences and staff continues to be our number one priority. We’re following Victorian Government health guidelines and working with our venues to make sure that all events planned as part of the 2022 Festival are COVID-Safe.

Some key points:

  • In line with Victorian Government health guidelines, audiences will no longer need to check-in or provide evidence of their vaccination status.
  • If you have any of the following symptoms, no matter how mild, you must not attend an MIJF event: cough, sore throat, runny or blocked nose, shortness of breath, aches and pains, headache, fatigue, chills or sweats, loss of appetite or nausea, loss of smell or taste. Please consider the health and safety of yourself and your community—get tested and quarantine at home until you receive your test results.
  • By entering a MIJF event, you agree to abide by responsible health and safety measures including, but not limited to physical distancing where possible, mask wearing and sanitisation.
  • In line with Victorian Government health guidelines, wearing a face mask indoors is strongly recommended.
