Wax Music Lounge hosts live jazz explorations every Monday at the CBD’s newest music basement. House band Astral Flex are joined by weekly guests plus DJ GSM on selections.
Wax Museum Records has been a Melbourne institution for seventeen years. Across a record store, label and events they have represented the city’s soulful underground; a pillar of the local music community and trusted beat makers.
The boutique shop has been at the forefront of modern music trends from jazz and soul through to hip-hop, beats and club culture, stocking a wide range of new and lost treasures. The Wax Museum team aim to keep providing Melbourne, Australia and the world with the finest music in their field of specialty, whilst providing a voice for local artists and pushing their mantra ‘It’s All About The Beats!’ through their unique events.
With some of Melbourne’s most infamous music figures behind the counter, Wax Museum Records continue to push the scene forward, nurturing local creative talent, and acting as a centre point for the community.
