Building on over 10 years of creative collaboration, Goldsmith Baynes is a captivating project from soulful contemporary vocalist Allana Goldsmith (Ngati Porou and Ngai Tai) and renowned jazz pianist and stalwart of Aotearoa’s music scene, Mark Baynes.
Performing songs from their acclaimed debut album E Rere Rā, Goldsmith Baynes offer a rare and powerful blend of jazz and te ao Māori (the Māori world), reflecting the ancestral folk wisdom and storytelling traditions passed down through generations.
