As a proudly not-for-profit organisation, the Melbourne International Jazz Festival (MIJF) relies on the support of passionate people and partners to bring the festival to life each year.

With your support, MIJF will return in October with a dynamic 10-day program featuring the best of the best in jazz. However, it’s a challenging time for the live music sector right now. And with rising operational costs and market pressures forcing many music festivals to cease operations, it is MIJF’s community of jazz lovers that bolsters and sustains us.

Right now, thanks to Creative Australia’s Plus1 program, you can maximise your support of MIJF—with all donations to our Amplify Jazz appeal matched dollar-for-dollar (up to $50,000)—until 31 May 2024.

We’re raising funds to help MIJF deliver another incredible 10-day festival this October, and to support showcasing opportunities for Australian jazz musicians all over the world—amplifying the reach of our local artists and helping to develop international markets for their outstanding work.
