Slow Poke

Led by guitarist Matt Hoyne, Slow Poke brings a spacious, unhurried approach to the jazz guitar trio, exploring melody, texture and space through original compositions and reimagined songs by artists including Joni Mitchell and Rufus Wainwright. Featuring Tamara Murphy on double bass and Kyrie Anderson on drums, the trio creates intimate, thoughtful music that reveals its depth in the spaces between notes.

Cold Hands Warm Heart

Bark. Branches. Stones. Clay. Cold Hands Warm Heart is made up of four musicians who pay homage to the natural world through immersive and experimental soundscapes. Inspired by the textures, rhythms and quiet transformations of the environment, from a fallen tree teeming with life to the swell of a river after rain, their music invites audiences into a deeply attentive listening experience. Meditative, evocative and richly atmospheric, their performances draw attention to deep time, encouraging a renewed connection with the landscapes that surround us.
